How I work
I’ve been a photographer and videographer for thirty years — twenty of those in the United States. Through decades of work around the world, I’ve learned how to build trust quickly and on the spot.
That matters — especially when working with vulnerable communities, or in situations where being in front of a camera feels unfamiliar and exposed. Once trust is there, everything opens up: I can disappear into the background, observe quietly, and stay close without taking up space. Present, but not intrusive.
That kind of presence is hard to maintain with a large crew. So I work alone. Concept, preparation, camera, edit — everything from a single source. This creates what’s genuinely difficult to delegate: a visual and emotional coherence that runs through every frame.
I work with organizations and individuals who are ready to tell their story. In short documentary films, photographic reportages, authentic testimonials.
With care. With attention. And always up close.
